YoungLives​ in Durham and Orange County

YoungLives​ Ministry began its work in Durham and Orange County in August 2023, and we’ve been blessed to witness the Lord expand our small team of volunteer mentors into a vibrant, diverse group of 11 incredible women. Among them, several are fluent in Spanish, and some have experienced the challenges of being teen moms themselves. These mentors have a deep, heartfelt commitment to the young moms and their babies, and our favorite evenings of the month are spent together on Monday nights at Club or Campaigners, building relationships and supporting one another.

We are incredibly grateful for our growing village - the YoungLives​ committee, our dedicated volunteer childcare workers, meal providers, local churches, community organizations, and individuals who share our passion for supporting young parents and their children. Together, we are creating spaces where these remarkable young moms can receive care, find community, and continue to grow into the women and mothers the Lord created them to be.
